This CMLI Chartered Landscape Architect brings a strong combination of landscape planning, assessment, design and multidisciplinary project experience. He has delivered projects from early feasibility and planning through to construction, working alongside planners, architects, engineers, ecologists, arboriculturists and other environmental specialists.

His landscape planning experience includes preparing Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments and contributing to additional assessments across Scotland. His work has covered site appraisal, scoping discussions, assessment of townscape and visual effects, identification of sensitive receptors, mitigation development, assessment text and graphics, and integration into planning submissions.

Alongside his technical work, he has strong client-facing and project coordination experience. He regularly manages client and design team meetings, coordinates consultants, presents proposals and supervises junior team members.

What Is He Looking For?

He is particularly keen to move further into landscape planning and LVIA, with a strong interest in applying his experience to renewable energy projects.

While his experience to date does not specifically include tall infrastructure or expert witness work, his TVIA, planning and technical background provides a strong foundation for developing further within these areas.
