About Profile

Based in Edinburgh, she has developed a strong specialism in commercial fisheries and fisheries liaison, supporting proposed, under-construction and operational offshore developments throughout the UK.

Her experience includes working directly with developers, commercial fishers and fisheries stakeholders, alongside managing offshore survey activities and providing technical environmental support.

Key experience includes:

  • Commercial fisheries and fisheries liaison
  • Offshore wind and subsea cable developments
  • Fisheries Liaison Officer experience
  • Fisheries stakeholder engagement and consultation
  • Fisheries liaison and coexistence plans
  • Fisheries cooperation agreements and payment strategies
  • Offshore fish ecology and fishing gear scouting surveys
  • Fisheries data analysis and advanced GIS
  • Statutory and non-statutory stakeholder consultation
  • Technical reporting and research
  • Management of fisheries representatives and offshore Fisheries Liaison Officers

She also brings wider environmental consultancy experience, including supporting renewable energy EIA work, fish habitat assessments and environmental GIS analysis.

Academically, she holds an MSc in Marine Biodiversity and Biotechnology with Distinction and a First Class Honours BSc in Biological Sciences.

What is she looking for?

She is now looking for a change and is open-minded about her next opportunity. While her strongest specialism is within marine commercial fisheries, she is interested in exploring broader marine environmental, offshore renewables and consultancy positions where her technical, stakeholder and project experience would be valued.

Location: Edinburgh
Salary expectations: £50,000 to £70,000, depending on the role and level
