About Profile
This candidate is working as a Geospatial Surveyor within the rail infrastructure sector, where they produce Land Registry–compliant plans and digital mapping outputs using ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro. They manage large corporate GIS datasets, and undertake spatial analysis and georeferencing to support land ownership investigations. They also carry out surveys using GNSS, total stations and laser scanning technologies, and work closely with stakeholders across large infrastructure projects.
They have experience designing and leading geospatial elements of projects and particularly enjoy the data management, spatial analysis and project delivery aspects of their work. They are now keen to move into a role where they can focus more on these areas, rather than working solely in surveying.
The opportunity to apply geospatial analysis within an environmental consultancy context is of particular interest to them, as it aligns closely with their background and interests. From a technical perspective, they have experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, AutoCAD, RStudio, SPSS, Survey123 and ArcGIS Online, alongside strong spatial data management and mapping capabilities.
They are currently earning £45,000, so would be looking for around the same.
They currently have a 2 month notice period.
