We are now recruiting for a Senior Planner to join their growing and friendly team based in Bedford.

About the Role

As a Senior Planner, you’ll work under the guidance of senior staff while having the opportunity to lead on smaller projects, depending on your experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clear, commercial planning advice to a range of clients

  • Preparing high-quality planning reports and submissions

  • Coordinating with technical consultants as part of wider project teams

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Managing stakeholder engagement, including local authorities

  • Representing client interests throughout the planning process

  • Contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the Bedford office

About You

We’re looking for a motivated and personable planner with:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field

  • At least 3 years’ professional experience (private or public sector)

  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and a range of planning issues

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Confidence to manage and prioritise multiple projects independently
