About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy as they continue their growth across the UK.

Known for delivering clear, commercially focused and practical planning advice, our client works across a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, energy and heritage. Their collaborative culture and personalised approach have earned them long-standing relationships with national developers, landowners and private clients alike.

Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced and driven Senior Associate Planner to lead their Hertfordshire team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Chartered Planner with a strong commercial mindset who is ready to step into a leadership role. You will oversee a varied and rewarding project portfolio, lead and develop a team, and play a key part in shaping the business’s growth and regional presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the Hertfordshire planning team

  • Managing projects from inception through to delivery

  • Preparing planning appraisals, applications and appeals

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Driving business development and identifying new opportunities

  • Contributing to the wider business strategy and growth

About You

  • Chartered Planner (RTPI Member)

  • Broad planning experience across multiple sectors

  • Consultancy and development background

  • Confident leading teams and managing clients

  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to growth

  • Full UK driving licence
