Principal Ecologist

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is working with a growing, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy looking for a Senior or Principal Ecologist to join its friendly and supportive team in Kenilworth.

This is an opportunity to lead varied ecological projects, develop client relationships and mentor junior ecologists, with the flexibility of hybrid working.

The Role

• Manage ecological projects from initial survey through to reporting and delivery.

• Prepare and review EcIAs, HRAs and protected species licence applications.

• Provide technical ecological advice to clients.

• Support junior ecologists through mentoring and technical guidance.

• Build client relationships and contribute to winning new work.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in ecological consultancy.

• Strong technical reporting and project management skills.

• At least one protected species licence.

• Good knowledge of UK ecological legislation and survey techniques.

• Confidence working with clients and managing projects.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
