About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing, employee-owned consultancy in Dorking, who are looking for a talented Senior or Principal Landscape Architect to join their friendly and collaborative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the UK, including strategic and detailed landscape design, masterplanning, public realm projects, and landscape and visual impact assessments. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with architects, ecologists, and arboriculturists to deliver innovative and high-quality designs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading concept and detailed landscape designs, and contributing to masterplanning projects

  • Undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) and landscape planning work

  • Mentoring and supervising junior team members, supporting their growth

  • Communicating clearly with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders

  • Visiting project sites (UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required)

Who We’re Looking For

  • Postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture

  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)

  • 5+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture

  • Experience in concept and detailed design, with masterplanning experience desirable

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, 2D/3D CAD; knowledge of Vectorworks, LSS, Lumion, and GIS is a bonus

  • Creative, collaborative, and a strong communicator

  • Able to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff
