  • Participate in regular team meetings and ensure effective communication across the business

  • Maintain and manage ecological equipment, vehicles, and survey data

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant consultancy experience

  • Proficient in habitat classification methods including PEA, UKHab, and ideally NVC

  • Proven knowledge of UK/EU wildlife legislation, protected species, and invasive species

  • Experience managing ecological inputs to planning, BNG, and mitigation design

  • Competency in GIS and bat sound analysis software (e.g., Bat Explorer)

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays across the UK during peak season

  • Clean driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (pool vehicles available for survey use)

  • Full or Associate CIEEM membership

  • FISC Level 4 (desirable)

  • Familiar with BREEAM Land Use & Ecology assessments

  • Strong client liaison and stakeholder engagement skills
