The Opportunity

This is a fantastic role for a Project Manager with a technical (engineering/environmental) background to take the lead on complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept through to delivery and post-completion care. You’ll manage dynamic teams, coordinate across specialist disciplines, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables

  • Create and manage detailed project plans and schedules

  • Track progress and adapt strategies as needed

Team Leadership

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across technical and environmental disciplines

  • Encourage communication, collaboration, and accountability

Financial & Risk Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets

  • Forecast resources and mitigate risks

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams and clients

  • Provide regular updates on milestones, issues, and outcomes

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all outputs meet regulatory, technical, and quality standards

  • Conduct post-project evaluations and apply lessons learned


What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline

  • 5+ years’ project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments

  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with industry standards and compliance (e.g., ISO, CE, OSHA)

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree or PMP certification

  • Familiarity with Agile/hybrid project methodologies

  • Proficiency with tools such as CAD, GIS, or simulation/engineering software

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment
