Project Coordinator - Ecology
Meet Our Recruiter
About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing ecological consultancy to recruit a Project Coordinator. This is a newly created role offering the chance to play a pivotal part in project delivery while supporting and mentoring junior ecologists as they develop their consultancy skills.
The organisation is known for its high technical standards, pragmatic approach, and strong client relationships. Continued growth has created the need for a dedicated Project Coordinator to oversee projects, manage client communication, and support the ecological team.
The Role
The Project Coordinator will act as the key link between clients and the ecology team, taking responsibility for project management and coordination. Junior ecologists will typically operate as Assistant Project Managers, carrying out surveys and feeding findings back to the Project Coordinator. Recommendations will be developed collaboratively, with the Project Coordinator leading on client liaison and ensuring junior staff are supported and included in communications and meetings.
This is a 9–5, desk-based role with no fieldwork requirement, based in the office with flexibility for home working. As this is a newly introduced position, there is real scope for the successful candidate to help shape the role as the business evolves.
