About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading environmental and arboricultural consultancy in their search for a Senior Arboricultural Consultant to join their growing team in Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced arboricultural professional to work on a diverse range of projects across planning, development and environmental consultancy. The Role
As a Senior Arboricultural Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and delivering arboricultural consultancy services across a wide variety of projects.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing projects from initial enquiry and fee proposal through to delivery and client feedback

Undertaking BS5837 tree surveys and providing technical advice on planning and development projects

Preparing and delivering Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements

Carrying out tree risk assessments

Supporting regional teams, including senior leadership and technical specialists

Contributing to client relationships, business development and sales activities

Mentoring and supporting junior members of the arboriculture team

Preparing professional reports and technical documentation for clients and planning authorities
About You
To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate:

At least 4 years’ experience in arboricultural consultancy

Experience working with BS5837:2012 planning surveys
-
Level 4 qualification or higher in Arboriculture

Experience completing Tree Risk–Benefit Assessments
-
Technical Membership (or higher) of the Arboricultural Association

Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Good organisational, project management and client management abilities
-
A full UK driving licence
Working Arrangement

Location: Manchester
-
Hybrid working model with an expectation of approximately two days per week in the office or on site
Salary & Benefits
-
£40,960 – £48,450 per year, depending on experience
-
4-day working week with full salary (80% time / 100% pay)
