What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting a wide range of ecological surveys, including protected species and habitat assessments

  • Writing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs, and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments

  • Advising clients on mitigation strategies, ecological opportunities, and constraints

  • Working closely with planning, arboriculture, and landscape teams on integrated project delivery

  • Supporting planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments

  • Liaising with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders

  • Contributing to fee proposals and project tenders

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Around 2 years of consultancy experience (or transferable skills from another setting)

  • Solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy

  • Experience with habitat classification surveys and biodiversity net gain assessments

  • Comfortable producing reports and advising clients

  • (Bonus) Experience using QGIS for digital outputs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
