About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled arboriculturist to contribute to a diverse range of projects – from individual homeowner surveys to large-scale national infrastructure developments. As an Arboricultural Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct site surveys and deliver high-quality arboricultural reports.

  • Prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA) and Method Statements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various environmental projects.

  • Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, providing expert advice.

  • Travel regularly across the South East, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 qualification in Arboriculture (or actively working towards).

  • Proven experience in tree surveying within a consultancy or commercial environment.

  • Expertise in Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) and BS5837:2012 development surveys.

  • Experience writing detailed, accurate Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Method Statements.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to produce precise, client-ready reports.

  • Experience with arboricultural software (THREATS, CAVAT, TEMPO, RAVEN, iTree) is desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, GIS/CAD, and tree survey tools.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
