About Profile

I am working with an experienced Ecologist of 4 years, based in Bromley, Lewisham, looking to work from an office when not on site.

She has:

- PIT Level 4 (equivalent to FISC Level 4)

- Morph qualified (River Condition Assessment)

- Beaver license 2025-381-CL51-BVR

- And has just put in for her application for her GCN licence.

Her role is twofold, she undertakes UKHab surveys and produces BNG baseline mapping and metric calculations, alongside authoring BNG feasibility reports. Alongside this, she has broad field experience including PEAs, bat surveys, reptile work and translocations, badger and water vole surveys, nesting bird checks and Ecological Clerk of Works support. She has also managed smaller projects, coordinated multi-landowner sites and supported tendering, giving her a well-rounded understanding of project delivery.

What stands out is her motivation and drive. She is actively working towards additional protected species licences, with a particular interest in water vole and badger, and is seeking a consultancy that will invest in her progression and provide the structure to achieve this.

In terms of logistics, she is currently based in Bromley/Lewisham and is ideally looking for opportunities across Crawley, Leatherhead, East Sussex or North Kent, where commute and project alignment work well.

She is targeting a salary of £38,000, although she is open to considering roles from £36,000 where there is a clear commitment to professional development, particularly around licensing support.

If this profile aligns with any current or upcoming needs in your team, please be in touch.
