About the Role

Are you a Hydrogeologist or Geologist looking to make an impact in the minerals, waste, and environmental sectors? 🌍

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a respected consultancy that’s shaping the future of sustainable resource management. This is your chance to join a talented team where your expertise will be valued, your ideas will be heard, and your career will be supported.

If you thrive on solving complex challenges, enjoy variety in your projects, and want to work with experienced professionals on technically demanding work — this could be the perfect move for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Getting hands-on with a wide range of hydrogeological and geological projects.

  • Working across the full lifecycle of project delivery — from desk studies to site work to final reporting.

  • Preparing technical reports, risk assessments, and models.

  • Supporting investigations in the field and providing technical oversight.

  • Collaborating with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong technical knowledge in hydrogeology, geology, or environmental assessment.

  • Experience in groundwater assessment (for hydrogeologists) or geological field/technical work (for geologists).

  • Confident communicator with excellent writing skills.

  • Proactive, detail-focused, and adaptable in your approach.

  • Familiarity with hydrogeological modelling software (bonus, not essential).

  • A degree (ideally MSc) in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Work closely with some of the most experienced consultants in the industry.

  • Be part of a culture that values curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.

  • Access structured professional development and support towards chartership.

  • Thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment.

  • Build a career with clear pathways for progression.
