With a growing team of industry leaders, they are now seeking a talented Flood Modeller / Hydrology Consultant to join their remote-first workforce.

The Role

As part of the consultancy team, you will:

  • Deliver accurate, detailed flood risk and hydrology modelling reports.

  • Undertake hydrological analysis using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH methods.

  • Develop, review, and refine 1D/2D hydraulic models (Flood Modeller, ESTRY, TuFLOW).

  • Translate complex modelling outputs into practical, client-focused solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Manage your time and resources in a collaborative, distributed team.


About You

  • Degree in Geography, Environmental Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 4+ years of UK-based industry experience in flood risk/hydrology.

  • Proven expertise in UK-recognised modelling software.

  • Experience working with regulators such as SEPA and local authorities.

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

  • Ambition to progress within a consultancy that values expertise and independence.
