Now, due to continued growth and exciting new project wins in Scotland, we’re looking for an experienced Flood Modeller / Hydrology Consultant to join their expanding remote team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and contribute to high-quality Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) in line with SEPA, local authority, and NPF4 requirements.

  • Undertake detailed hydrological analysis (WINFAP, ReFH2, FEH).

  • Develop and review 1D and 2D hydraulic models (Flood Modeller, ESTRY, TuFLOW).

  • Translate complex modelling outputs into clear, practical advice for clients.

  • Manage projects from concept to completion as part of a collaborative, distributed team.


What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Geography, Environmental Management, Engineering, or similar.

  • 4+ years of UK-based flood risk/hydrology experience.

  • Strong knowledge of recognised modelling packages and hydrological tools.

  • Experience working with SEPA and local authorities.

  • Excellent technical writing and client communication skills.

  • Ambition to grow, innovate, and make an impact.
