Senior / Principal Ecologist

About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced ecological consultants who enjoy combining technical delivery with project management and client engagement.

Ideally, you'll have:

• A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biological Sciences or a related discipline.

• Associate membership of CIEEM or an equivalent professional body.

• Demonstrable ecological consultancy experience across different project types and sectors.

• Strong experience in ecological surveys, assessments and technical reporting.

• Knowledge of protected species legislation, habitat management and ecological mitigation.

• Experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• An interest in mentoring colleagues and contributing to team development.

For those considering the Principal Ecologist position, additional experience in technical leadership, commercial project delivery and business development would be particularly valuable.
