Ocean to Earth Recruitment is proud to be working with a growing environmental consultancy to recruit a Project Coordinator / Project Support professional.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivering a wide range of ecological and environmental projects—from local housing developments and biodiversity net gain assessments to nationally significant infrastructure schemes.
You’ll play a central role in supporting project delivery, ensuring projects are set up correctly and progress efficiently through each stage of the lifecycle. It’s an ideal position for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within the environmental sector.
Key Responsibilities

Support the setup of new projects, ensuring documentation, resourcing, and scheduling are in place

Assist Project Managers and technical leads with planning and coordination

Track project progress and communicate updates, highlighting potential delays

Maintain accurate project records and documentation

Act as a key communication link between teams, stakeholders, and clients

Prepare reports, updates, and presentations on project performance

Identify risks or issues early and escalate where necessary

Support resource planning, fieldwork logistics, and meeting coordination

Contribute to improving internal project processes and workflows
About You
You’ll be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy collaborating with others and communicating clearly across teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Interest in environmental or ecological consultancy work
Desirable:

Previous experience in a project coordination or support role

Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

Understanding of environmental regulations or ecological surveys
