About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is working with an established and growing environmental and land-based business to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager.
This is procurement with a difference. You’ll be responsible for sourcing plants, trees, products and materials that support landscape, forestry, environmental and land management projects.
Working across a diverse business, you’ll combine hands-on purchasing with strategic responsibility, strengthening supplier relationships, improving processes and developing a resilient and sustainable supply chain.
The Role
You will:
- Develop and deliver the procurement strategy
- Manage relationships with UK and international suppliers, growers and nurseries
- Lead commercial negotiations and supplier performance
- Identify new suppliers, products and sourcing opportunities
- Ensure quality, sustainability, value and availability
- Oversee plant purchasing and biosecurity processes
- Manage supply chain risks and procurement audits
- Support and develop colleagues involved in purchasing
About You
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management, strong negotiation skills and the confidence to take ownership of procurement across a growing organisation.
Experience within horticulture, landscaping, agriculture, forestry or a related sector would be particularly valuable, although procurement professionals from other relevant industries are encouraged to apply.
A CIPS qualification would be advantageous.

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.30pm
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
A full clean UK driving licence is required due to the office location.
