About the Role

If you're a Landscape Architect looking to work on a wider variety of projects, develop your design skills or build your experience in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), this is an opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy where landscape architecture is an integral part of the wider environmental team.

Whether your strengths lie in creative landscape design, LVIAs, or a combination of both, you'll work alongside experienced ecologists, arboriculturists and environmental specialists to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions for projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience, work on meaningful developments and be part of a collaborative team that genuinely values good design and practical environmental outcomes.

The Company

Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary environmental consultancy, bringing together expertise in landscape architecture, ecology, arboriculture, flood risk and environmental planning to support projects from initial feasibility through to delivery.

Working with a broad range of clients across residential, commercial, infrastructure, utilities and the public sector, the team is recognised for delivering practical, high-quality solutions that balance environmental, planning and commercial objectives.

With offices in Canterbury, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, Hertfordshire and Worcestershire, you'll be joining a collaborative business where landscape architects work closely alongside other environmental specialists, creating opportunities to learn, share ideas and contribute to projects that make a lasting difference.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the landscape team, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to planning and delivery, including:

  • Producing landscape designs, masterplans and planting strategies.
  • Preparing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and supporting landscape planning work.
  • Working collaboratively with ecologists, arboriculturists, planners and engineers to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
  • Supporting planning applications with high-quality reports, graphics and visual material.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Contributing creative ideas that help shape sustainable, attractive and functional places.

About You

You'll have experience working within a UK landscape architecture consultancy and enjoy both the creative and technical aspects of the profession.

You may already have experience preparing LVIAs, or you're keen to develop this area alongside your landscape design skills. Above all, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in producing high-quality work and be motivated by projects that create positive environmental outcomes.

Chartered status is welcomed but not essential, and support is available for those progressing towards CMLI accreditation.

What's on Offer

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from:

  • Flexible and hybrid working.
  • A diverse range of projects across multiple sectors and client types.
  • Ongoing technical training and professional development.
  • Support towards chartership and professional memberships.
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression as the landscape team continues to grow.
  • A comprehensive benefits package.
  • A supportive, collaborative culture where your ideas and expertise are valued.

Location & Flexibility

The role can be based from any of the consultancy's offices in Canterbury, Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, Hertfordshire or Worcestershire, with flexible and hybrid working available to support a healthy work-life balance.
