With an established presence and offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team delivering a broad range of projects across the development, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. Whether you're an experienced technical leader or an engineer looking to take the next step in your career, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

The business embraces flexible and hybrid working, recognising that people perform at their best when they have the freedom to balance work and life in a way that suits them.

The Opportunity

You'll play an important role in the delivery of geotechnical engineering projects, working alongside experienced professionals within a multidisciplinary team. Depending on your level of experience, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor colleagues, build client relationships and help shape the future growth of the geotechnical offering.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Delivering geotechnical investigations, assessments and technical reporting.
  • Providing construction support, temporary works advice and practical engineering solutions.
  • Undertaking specialist services including peat surveys, slope stability assessments and geotechnical design.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects across the energy, development and infrastructure sectors.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contributing to bids, tenders and business development activities.
  • Managing project budgets, quality, environmental and health and safety requirements.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

Occasional travel within Scotland and the wider UK may be required, including overnight stays where necessary.
