About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is hiring an EIA Consultant for our client, an established employee-owned environmental consultancy. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, especially relating to the water environment, who is looking to progress toward a senior position.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out fieldwork, data analysis and report writing for Environmental Impact Assessments

  • Prepare hydrology, hydrogeology and water environment chapters for major infrastructure projects

  • Use GIS, Excel and CAD tools to interpret and present data

  • Coordinate and undertake site visits and monitoring work

  • Manage small projects and support proposal writing

  • Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Follow a structured development plan and work toward professional Chartership

Requirements

  • Degree (2:1 or higher) in a numerate or relevant discipline

  • Experience contributing to EIAs or water-environment assessments

  • Postgraduate qualification (desirable)

  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Interest in progressing to Senior Consultant
