You’ll enjoy a varied role that combines fieldwork, project coordination, and client collaboration — with travel and overnight stays during the survey season. If you’re driven by curiosity, purpose, and a love for the environment, this is your next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct terrestrial ecology surveys and assessments

  • Manage and coordinate projects from planning to delivery

  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Produce clear, accurate ecological reports

  • Support sustainable and nature-positive outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in ecological or environmental consultancy

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in ecology or related subject

  • Strong field skills and understanding of ecological legislation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel

  • Membership or eligibility for CIEEM

Desirable:

  • Protected species licences (GCN, bat, dormouse)

  • Ornithological or botanical expertise

All applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK.

What’s in It for You

  • 25 days annual leave

  • Healthcare cash plan, enhanced pension, and life insurance

  • Paid professional memberships and training opportunities

  • Clothing allowance and performance rewards

  • Supportive, flexible, and inclusive work culture

  • Opportunities to work on high-profile environmental projects
