About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is supporting a specialist environmental and sustainability consultancy looking to appoint a Consultant or Senior Consultant to its growing Sustainability team.

This is a varied role working across the built environment, helping clients embed sustainability into development design and delivery. You will work alongside a wider multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to connect sustainability thinking with areas such as nature, biodiversity and natural capital.

The role

You will be involved in:

  • Whole life carbon modelling and design optioneering
  • Circular economy strategies
  • WLC assessments, sustainability statements and planning submissions
  • BREEAM pre-assessments, workshops and certification
  • Managing your own projects or workstreams
  • Working directly with clients, design teams and other technical consultants

About you

You will ideally bring experience across building sustainability, carbon assessment, net zero and sustainability advisory. Knowledge of BREEAM, circular economy and the planning process is particularly relevant, with exposure to NABERS, Passivhaus or the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard also useful.

BREEAM Assessor/AP status or whole life carbon qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

What’s on offer

Competitive salary and discretionary bonus, enhanced pension, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, professional development, wellbeing benefits, volunteering days and hybrid working, including the option to work abroad for a set period each year.

The role is London-based with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

To find out more or apply confidentially, please send your CV to vicky@oceantoearth.co.uk.
