They are seeking an Associate to play a key role in delivering technically robust, meaningful work that supports sustainable development and environmental protection.

The Role

As an Associate within the Geo-Environmental Services team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of projects including contaminated land assessments, site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and environmental risk assessments.

You will contribute to both the technical delivery and overall success of projects, working closely with senior leaders while developing your own expertise, client relationships, and leadership capability.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Support the delivery of geo-environmental projects, including site investigations, data analysis, and reporting

  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and interpretive reports

  • Ensure work is delivered on time and to a high technical standard

Technical Analysis

  • Analyse environmental and geotechnical data to support project objectives

  • Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and remediation strategies

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practice

Client Engagement

  • Support communication with clients, providing clear updates on progress and findings

  • Attend meetings and site visits, contributing technical input

  • Help develop and maintain strong client relationships

Team Contribution

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members

  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and method statements

Commercial Awareness

  • Support project budgeting and resource planning

  • Assist in monitoring project progress and financial performance


About You

You are building your career within geo-environmental consultancy and are looking to take the next step in a supportive and progressive environment.

Essential:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline

  • Experience within a geo-environmental consultancy environment

  • Exposure to contaminated land, site investigations, or remediation

  • Knowledge of UK environmental and planning regulations

  • Strong data analysis and technical reporting skills

You will also bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients

  • Good time management and attention to detail

  • A commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
