The Role

As Senior GIS Consultant, you’ll be a key part of the Digital Delivery team, collaborating across the organisation and contributing to projects that make a real difference. This role sits at the intersection of tech and sustainability, supporting environmental consultancy with robust data solutions and digital tools.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the company’s ArcGIS Online environment

  • Designing and deploying Esri apps such as Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for GIS platforms and applications

  • Developing and maintaining scripts, tools, and web services

  • Working closely with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver user-friendly GIS solutions

  • Contributing to system documentation and continuous improvement of GIS processes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in GIS, mapping, and environmental data management, ideally with experience in areas such as ecology (including Biodiversity Net Gain), arboriculture, planning, and infrastructure development.

You should be:

  • A confident problem-solver and collaborator

  • Comfortable translating technical knowledge into practical, real-world solutions

  • Eager to innovate, adapt, and grow alongside a business pushing digital boundaries in the environmental space


Key Skills & Software Proficiency

Essential:

  • ArcGIS Pro

  • ArcGIS Online

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Python, Arcade, VBScript

  • SQL

  • Survey123 + Survey123 Connect

  • Field Maps

Desirable (or willingness to develop):

  • FME

  • Experience Builder

  • Advanced Python scripting or tool development
