About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is proud to be working with one of Ireland’s leading environmental and infrastructure consultancies to recruit a Senior Environmental Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, Irish-owned organisation at the forefront of delivering projects in sustainable infrastructure, circular economy, environment, and renewable energy.

Our client delivers expert consultancy, project management, design, and contract management services across a broad range of infrastructure developments including roads, bridges, rail, solid waste facilities, biomethane, public realm works, and renewable energy systems.


The Role

As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in the Circular Economy and Environment team, working closely with a talented group of professionals to support the delivery of complex and impactful infrastructure projects. The position is suited to candidates with at least 8 years' experience, and offers a clear career progression path toward Principal Engineer level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the design process and CAD documentation, collaborating with engineers and technicians

  • Attend on-site and client meetings, representing the engineering team

  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety procedures

  • Coordinate your work with multidisciplinary project teams

  • Deliver projects efficiently, to a high technical standard, and on time


Requirements

  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

  • Minimum 8 years’ post-graduate experience

  • Proven experience in project management

  • Experience in the design of anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste infrastructure, or public realm projects is desirable

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills

  • Experience engaging with clients, sub-contractors, and stakeholders

  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently

  • Full clean driving licence
