About the Role

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be leading projects from initial appraisal to delivery, including:

  • Preliminary Ecological Appraisals

  • Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA)

  • Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRA)

  • Mitigation strategy design and stakeholder engagement

  • Supporting junior team members through mentoring and leadership

  • Managing client relationships and contributing to business development

  • Producing and reviewing high-quality technical reports

You’ll also play a key role in developing strong internal culture and helping shape future approaches to consultancy delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong background in ecological consultancy with solid field and reporting experience

  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholder engagement

  • Experience in HRA, mitigation planning, and working within planning frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles

  • Commitment to mentoring and developing junior staff

  • CIEEM membership (or working towards Chartership)

  • A full UK driving licence
