About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, forward-thinking environmental consultancy in their search for a Senior Ecologist to join a friendly and growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced consultant who enjoys a mix of fieldwork, reporting, project management, and mentoring others. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects across sectors such as residential, infrastructure, and renewables, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and progress your career.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading habitat and protected species surveys

  • Writing high-quality ecological reports (PEA, EcIA, BNG, etc.)

  • Managing your own projects and client relationships

  • Supporting and mentoring junior ecologists

  • Providing clear, practical ecological advice

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years’ consultancy (or similar) experience

  • Strong ID skills and UK habitat survey experience

  • Protected species survey knowledge

  • Confident report writer and project manager

  • CIEEM membership (or working towards)

  • Full UK driving licence
