About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is working with an established environmental consultancy in the North East that is looking to welcome a Senior Arboricultural Consultant to its growing team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of varied arboricultural projects, work alongside experienced environmental professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality advice across development, planning and environmental projects.
You'll be joining a collaborative, multidisciplinary team where your expertise is valued, with flexibility around how you work and opportunities for continued professional development.
What You'll Be Doing

Leading arboricultural surveys, assessments and technical reporting, including BS5837 surveys and impact assessments.

Managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion, including budgets, programmes and quality assurance.

Providing practical arboricultural advice to clients and project teams.

Working collaboratively with ecology, landscape and planning specialists.

Supporting fee proposals, client relationships and business development.

Mentoring junior colleagues and sharing technical knowledge.
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:

A relevant qualification in Arboriculture, Forestry or a related discipline.

Experience delivering arboricultural assessments and technical reports.

Strong knowledge of UK arboricultural legislation, standards and best practice.

Experience managing projects and communicating with clients.

Professional membership, or working towards membership, with a relevant professional body.

A full UK driving licence.

🌿 Salary: £32,000 to £41,500, depending on experience.
