With an expanding portfolio of exciting projects, they are now seeking Landscape Planning Consultants at Graduate through to Senior/Principal level to join their growing team.

From renewable energy schemes (onshore and offshore wind, solar, and battery storage) to carbon capture, data centres, housing, transport infrastructure, coastal defences, and urban regeneration — this is an opportunity to help deliver projects that shape sustainable places across the UK.


Senior / Principal Appointments

We’re looking for experienced professionals with a proven ability in landscape planning and a creative, collaborative approach to applying environmental considerations in masterplanning and design.

Key skills and responsibilities:

  • Leading and authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and related technical reports.

  • Strong knowledge of GLVIA3 and Landscape Institute Technical Guidance Notes.

  • Experience with landscape character assessments, Green Belt reviews, and designated landscape appraisals.

  • Understanding of legislation, planning policy, and UK consenting regimes.

  • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues while managing multidisciplinary projects.

  • Ideally, experience as an expert witness at inquiries, hearings, or appeals.

  • Project management and client engagement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture and Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).

  • Experience working within a consultancy environment.

  • Skills in GIS desirable but not essential.


Graduate / Consultant Appointments

We’re also seeking early-career professionals with a passion for landscape planning and a desire to grow their expertise.

Key skills and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of LVIAs and other assessments.

  • Understanding of the UK Planning System.

  • Experience in multidisciplinary teams and client engagement beneficial.

  • GIS, graphics software, or AutoCAD skills desirable.
