About the Role

Do you thrive on organisation, problem-solving and keeping people and projects running smoothly?

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a forward-thinking environmental consultancy where your work directly supports ecological projects that make a positive difference to nature, biodiversity and sustainable development?

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is supporting a highly respected environmental consultancy in the search for an Ecology Resourcing & Logistics Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating people, equipment and resources, whilst working as part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team.

The Role

Behind every successful ecological project is a well-organised team with the right people, in the right place, with the right equipment. This role is central to making that happen.

Working closely with project managers, team leaders and ecologists across the business, you will coordinate resources, manage equipment logistics and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

No two days are the same. You could be reallocating survey teams to meet changing project demands, coordinating specialist equipment between offices, or helping ensure field teams are fully equipped for surveys across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running seamlessly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating ecological staff and survey resources across multiple projects.
  • Managing schedules and responding to changing project requirements.
  • Ensuring field teams have access to the equipment they need.
  • Coordinating the movement of equipment between offices and project locations.
  • Monitoring equipment availability, servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Working closely with project managers and technical teams to support project delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate resource planning and logistics records.
  • Helping maximise efficiency across people, projects and equipment.

About You

You may already work within resource planning, scheduling, logistics, operations or environmental consultancy and be looking for a role where your organisational skills can make a genuine impact.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and detail-focused.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable when plans change.
  • A strong communicator who can build positive working relationships.
  • Proactive, practical and solutions-focused.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.

Experience within ecology or environmental consultancy would be advantageous, but applicants from logistics, operations, planning or resource coordination backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

What's on Offer?

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and growing environmental consultancy known for delivering innovative ecological solutions across a diverse range of projects.

You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative culture that values professional development, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Enhanced pension scheme.
  • Healthcare cash plan.
  • Life insurance.
  • Professional membership support.
  • Discounted gym membership.
  • Performance-related rewards.
  • Long service recognition.
  • Regular social events and team activities.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity and want to play an important role in supporting projects that contribute to a more sustainable future, we'd love to hear from you.
