About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a consultancy built on strong values and looking for an experienced Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their expanding team in Stroud.
The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Lead surveys and project delivery, ensuring integrity and professional standards are upheld

Produce clear, accurate reports including PEAs, EcIAs, BNG Assessments, HRAs, and mitigation strategies

Manage client relationships, delivering tailored, results-focused solutions

Mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering leadership, inclusion, and continuous learning

Contribute ideas to help shape the consultancy’s growth and innovation
About You
You’ll be motivated, collaborative, and passionate about nature and sustainability, with the confidence to take ownership and the willingness to guide others.
Essential:
-
Degree (or equivalent) in ecology, environmental science, or related subject

3+ years’ ecological consultancy experience

Strong project management and client liaison skills
-
Demonstrable survey skills, technical knowledge, and high-standard report writing

Full driving licence and access to transport
Desirable:
-
Protected species licence(s)
-
FISC Level 4 (or equivalent)
-
Full or associate CIEEM membership
