The role

Our client delivers a wide variety of exciting projects, from baseline ecological surveys and detailed reports through to mitigation design, biodiversity net gain assessments and pioneering habitat banking initiatives. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative culture where you can make a tangible difference to the natural environment.

  • Flexible and remote working options

  • Discretionary performance-related bonus

  • Employee assistance programme

  • Personalised training and career development opportunities

Who we’re looking for

You’ll need experience in ecological consultancy, including field surveys (habitat survey expertise is essential), reporting, and project management. Strong interpersonal skills are key, as you’ll be working closely with both clients and colleagues.

Other desirable (but not essential) qualities include:

  • Protected species licences

  • A valid CSCS card

  • A full UK driving licence (essential)

About our client

Our client is a leading natural environment consultancy with over 30 years of experience. Their mission is clear: to help businesses and landowners protect and restore biodiversity while achieving sustainable outcomes. With a team of over 100 professionals across the UK, they support projects that safeguard the environment, enhance biodiversity and address climate challenges head-on.

They are currently rolling out a new strategy that puts the recovery of the natural environment at its very core.
