The Opportunity

What You'll Be Doing
You'll enjoy a varied role combining fieldwork, project delivery and client interaction, with plenty of opportunities to develop your technical skills.
Key areas of involvement include:
- Undertaking a range of ecological surveys across the UK.
- Producing clear, high-quality technical reports.
- Managing your workload and supporting project delivery.
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Contributing botanical expertise and developing specialist interests.
- Supporting a positive team culture and sharing knowledge with others.
- Progressing your consultancy and project management skills over time.
About You
You'll likely have consultancy experience and a solid understanding of UK ecology, legislation and survey methodologies. Strong botanical skills would be particularly welcome, although experience in protected species work, ornithology or project management would also be valuable.
You enjoy being outdoors, are comfortable travelling during the survey season and take pride in producing high-quality work. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to continue developing both technically and professionally.

Location & Flexibility
This role can be based from Manchester or Leeds, with a mix of office, home and site-based working. Travel and occasional overnight stays are part of the role, particularly during the peak survey season. Applicants should live within reasonable commuting distance of either office and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use.
