About the Role

The Opportunity

If you're an experienced BIM professional looking for more variety, greater influence and the chance to shape the way digital delivery supports exceptional design, this could be worth exploring.

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected landscape architecture and urban design practices, working on projects that genuinely shape places where people live, work and connect with nature. From vibrant public realm schemes and neighbourhood regeneration to landmark masterplans and city districts, you'll play a key role in helping multidisciplinary teams deliver beautifully coordinated, technically robust projects.

Whether you're currently working as a BIM Coordinator or are an experienced BIM Technician ready to take the next step, you'll have the opportunity to drive best practice, influence digital workflows and support a collaborative team of talented designers.

The Company

This independently owned design practice has spent decades creating thoughtful, sustainable places across the UK and internationally. Its work spans landscape architecture, urban design and masterplanning, combining creativity with technical excellence to deliver projects that have a lasting positive impact on people and the environment.

Collaboration sits at the heart of the business. Teams work closely across multiple UK studios, bringing together designers, landscape architects and technical specialists in an open, supportive culture where ideas are shared, innovation is encouraged and professional development is genuinely valued.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll become the go-to person for BIM delivery within the landscape architecture team, helping projects run smoothly from concept through to completion.

Your role will include:

  • Coordinating BIM processes across a diverse portfolio of landscape architecture, public realm and masterplanning projects.
  • Developing and managing high-quality Revit models and ensuring information is accurate, coordinated and delivered to industry standards.
  • Supporting multidisciplinary collaboration with architects, engineers, planners and specialist consultants.
  • Managing model coordination, clash detection and Common Data Environment workflows using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Maintaining BIM standards in line with ISO 19650 and supporting project documentation including BIM Execution Plans.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring colleagues to encourage best practice across the studio.
  • Exploring new digital tools and technologies that improve project delivery and design innovation.

This is a role where you'll have real ownership and the opportunity to influence how BIM continues to evolve across an ambitious design practice.

About You

You'll already have experience working in a BIM coordination or digital design role within architecture, landscape architecture, urban design or another multidisciplinary design environment.

You're confident using Revit and AutoCAD and have experience coordinating BIM-enabled projects from design through delivery. You'll also be comfortable working with Navisworks and Common Data Environments, with a solid understanding of BIM standards and information management.

Just as importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively, solving technical challenges and supporting others. You're someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while helping project teams get the best from digital design tools.

Experience within landscape architecture or public realm projects would be an advantage, along with knowledge of software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Twinmotion, Lumion, GIS or Dynamo, although these aren't essential.

What's on Offer

Alongside the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most exciting landscape and urban design projects, you'll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible hybrid working, with a balance of studio and home working.
  • A clear pathway for career progression and professional development.
  • Paid professional memberships and ongoing technical training.
  • The chance to help shape BIM strategy within a highly respected design practice.
  • Healthcare cashback scheme and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Perkbox membership with a wide range of wellbeing benefits and discounts.
  • A genuinely collaborative, supportive culture where your ideas and expertise are valued.

Location & Flexibility

This role can be based from the practice's studios in Leeds, Manchester, Oxford or London, with hybrid working offering a typical split of three days in the studio and two working from home.
