About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with project coordination or junior project management experience to take the next step in their career. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and technical specialists, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently from inception through to completion.

Importantly, no prior ecology experience is required—this role focuses on project delivery, coordination, and stakeholder communication, supporting specialist teams across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and mobilisation of new projects, including documentation, resourcing, and scheduling

  • Support Project Managers and technical leads in planning and coordinating project activities

  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables

  • Communicate updates and highlight potential risks or delays

  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation

  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders

  • Support reporting, presentations, and project updates

  • Assist with resource allocation and logistics for fieldwork and meetings

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project processes


About You

You’ll be organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively and communicating with a range of stakeholders.

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience in a project coordination or junior project management role

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Exposure to Agile or Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience working in a consultancy or professional services environment

  • Interest in environmental or sustainability-related work
