The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Arboricultural Surveyor based in or around the South East of England to work across a wide and varied project portfolio.
The successful candidate will contribute to:

Site surveys and technical reporting

Tree hazard and condition assessments
-
Development surveys
-
Client liaison and stakeholder communication
-
Delivery of high-quality arboricultural projects
Projects range from individual homeowners and private estates through to large-scale national infrastructure developments, offering real variety and professional challenge.
You will collaborate with in-house specialists across multiple environmental disciplines, gaining exposure to diverse and impactful work.
Due to the nature of the role, travel to sites across the region is required, with occasional overnight stays.
Salary: Circa £31,000 (dependent on experience and skillset)
About You
Our client is seeking a candidate with:

Membership of the Arboricultural Association or a related professional body
-
Relevant tree survey experience within consultancy or a commercial environment
-
Experience undertaking tree hazard/condition surveys using Visual Tree Assessment (VTA)
-
Experience conducting development surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012
-
Experience using tools/software such as THREATS, CAVAT, TEMPO, RAVEN and iTree (desirable but not essential)

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency with MS Office, GIS/CAD systems and tree survey software
-
A collaborative and proactive approach

A full, clean UK driving licence
-
Access to a vehicle insured for business use
