About the Role

Ocean to Earth Recruitment is partnering with a well-established environmental and design consultancy seeking Arboricultural Consultants and Assistant Arboricultural Consultants to join their growing team.

The Role

As part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert arboricultural advice throughout the planning and development process, helping clients navigate complex tree-related challenges while delivering sustainable project outcomes.

You will be involved in a broad range of services including:

  • BS5837 tree surveys and assessments
  • Arboricultural Impact Assessments
  • Arboricultural Method Statements
  • Tree health and condition surveys
  • Tree risk and hazard assessments
  • Veteran tree assessments
  • Woodland management planning
  • Client advice and project support
  • Technical reporting and project documentation

This role provides the opportunity to work alongside specialists across ecology, landscape architecture, planning and environmental consultancy, giving you exposure to integrated projects and a wider understanding of the environmental sector.

About You

We would like to hear from candidates who have:

  • A qualification in Arboriculture or a related environmental discipline
  • Strong tree identification skills
  • Experience undertaking BS5837 surveys
  • Knowledge of arboricultural assessment and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and organised approach to project delivery
  • A passion for trees, sustainable development and the natural environment
  • A full UK driving licence

Experience within consultancy is desirable, although ambitious candidates looking to progress from assistant-level positions are encouraged to apply.
