As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality landscape schemes, working alongside specialists in ecology, ecohydrology, arboriculture and planning. The role offers the chance to influence projects from early concept and strategy through to detailed design and implementation.

Projects include:

  • Parks and country parks

  • Residential and commercial developments
  • Urban greening initiatives
  • Habitat restoration and nature recovery projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality illustrated reports, presentation materials and technical drawings.
  • Produce graphics, sketches and visualisations to clearly communicate design concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and external consultants throughout project lifecycles.
  • Attend site visits, design workshops and client meetings.
  • Engage closely with in-house specialists across ecology, ecohydrology, arboriculture and planning to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
  • Contribute to the delivery of sustainable, resilient and biodiversity-led landscapes.

About You

We are keen to hear from landscape architects who combine strong technical ability with creativity and a genuine passion for the natural environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
  • A minimum of four years' professional landscape architecture experience within the UK.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and excellent graphic communication skills.
  • Strong planting knowledge and a passion for designing resilient, nature-rich landscapes.
  • A good understanding of the UK planning system and landscape planning process.
  • Experience preparing clear, well-structured design reports and supporting documentation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Competency in AutoCAD, with experience of 3D modelling and visualisation software being advantageous.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking environmental consultancy where collaboration, innovation and sustainability sit at the heart of everything they do. You will work on varied and rewarding projects that make a tangible difference to communities and the environment, while continuing to develop your own career within a supportive and multidisciplinary team.

Working alongside experts from across the environmental sector, you will help deliver projects that create lasting benefits for both people and nature, while building your own skills and experience within a respected and growing team.
