Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) efforts, including biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications, and drafting/agreement of Biodiversity Gain Plans.
  • Manage biodiversity unit purchases and credits for offsetting schemes.
  • Conduct ecological surveys such as Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, and prepare Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans.
  • Oversee Natural England licence applications (bats, great crested newts, badgers) and coordinate nationwide ecological survey teams.
  • Prepare and submit reports for planning applications and help discharge conditions attached to planning permissions.
  • Collaborate to provide practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Travel when required; a full UK driving license is essential.
