About the Role

We're working with a leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy seeking a Senior Arboricultural Consultant to join their growing team in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced arboriculturist who enjoys combining technical excellence with project leadership and client engagement.

The Role

You'll take the lead on a wide variety of arboricultural projects, managing them from inception through to completion while working closely with ecology, landscape and planning colleagues to deliver integrated environmental solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading arboricultural surveys, assessments and technical reporting.
  • Managing projects, programmes, budgets and quality assurance.
  • Preparing constraints plans, impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser for clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Supporting business development and contributing to fee proposals.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members through coaching and technical review.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture, Forestry or a related discipline.
  • Professional membership, or are working towards membership, with the Arboricultural Association and/or Institute of Chartered Foresters.
  • Strong knowledge of UK arboricultural legislation, standards and best practice.
  • Experience delivering high-quality arboricultural reports and assessments.
  • Excellent project management and client-facing skills.
  • Experience using MS Office, with CAD and GIS knowledge being advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel to sites when required.
