About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Landscape Planner to join their growing team in Tewkesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and make a meaningful impact on the planning and development landscape.

As a multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will collaborate with ecologists, heritage specialists, and masterplanning colleagues to deliver high-quality projects that balance commercial objectives with environmental sustainability.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will play a key role in delivering landscape planning services across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs) and appraisals

  • Contributing to landscape masterplans and strategies

  • Providing expert advice on landscape matters to clients and stakeholders

  • Assisting with planning applications and environmental impact assessments (EIAs)

  • Conducting site visits and surveys to inform project design and development

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes

About You

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a keen interest in landscape planning and design.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in landscape architecture, environmental planning, or a related field

  • Experience in producing LVIAs and landscape appraisals

  • Strong understanding of landscape planning policies and guidance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in relevant software such as GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills:

  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards chartership

  • Experience in landscape character assessments

  • Knowledge of green infrastructure planning
