Your Role

As Head of Ecology, you will:

  • Strategically shape and grow the ecology division, creating your own legacy within a supportive and innovative environment.
  • Oversee and deliver a range of ecological services across all project stages, from conception to completion.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand an already abundant business portfolio.
  • Manage and mentor a team of skilled ecologists, fostering their development and driving team success.
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise, with the opportunity to be involved in fieldwork as needed.

About You

Our client is looking for a passionate and motivated individual with:

  • A strong track record in ecology consultancy, including strategic and operational leadership.
  • Practical experience and Natural England licenses.
  • Proven ability to win and develop client relationships.
  • Expertise in managing diverse projects, from single-story extensions to large infrastructure developments.
  • A proactive mindset, keen to identify risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions.
