The Role

As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you'll support the delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects across Scotland and the wider UK.

Working closely with experienced engineers and project managers, you'll be involved in both fieldwork and office-based activities, helping to collect, analyse and interpret data that informs sustainable development decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with geo-environmental and geotechnical site investigations
• Undertaking site visits, monitoring and soil and groundwater sampling
• Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental risk evaluations
• Assisting with the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
• Logging soil and rock samples and managing field data
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard
• Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance on site
• Contributing to project planning, data analysis and technical reporting

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences or a related discipline
• A genuine interest in geo-environmental consultancy and land quality
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A full UK driving licence or willingness to obtain one

Previous industry experience through placements, internships or relevant project work would be advantageous but is not essential.
