Ocean to Earth Recruitment is supporting a growing geo-environmental consultancy in the search for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their Glasgow team.

The Role
As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you'll support the delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
Working closely with experienced engineers and project managers, you'll be involved in both fieldwork and office-based activities, helping to collect, analyse and interpret data that informs sustainable development decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with geo-environmental and geotechnical site investigations
- Undertaking site visits, monitoring and soil and groundwater sampling
- Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental risk evaluations
- Assisting with the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
- Logging soil and rock samples and managing field data
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard
- Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance on site
- Contributing to project planning, data analysis and technical reporting
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences or a related discipline
- A genuine interest in geo-environmental consultancy and land quality
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A full UK driving licence or willingness to obtain one
Previous industry experience through placements, internships or relevant project work would be advantageous but is not essential.
