About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is working with a growing UK consultancy to recruit an Associate Landscape Architect to join its expanding landscape team.
This is a design-focused opportunity with a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects, particularly solar and battery storage, alongside residential, infrastructure and mixed-use development.
The role would suit an experienced Landscape Architect who wants to progress at Associate level while remaining hands-on with design and technical delivery.
The role
You will:
- Lead landscape projects from concept through planning and detailed design.
- Produce and oversee masterplans, technical drawings, planting strategies and specifications.
- Work on major renewable energy projects, including solar and battery storage.
- Manage projects, programmes, budgets and client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with environmental, planning and technical specialists.
- Mentor and support junior Landscape Architects.
- Contribute to fee proposals and new project opportunities.
About you
You will ideally have:
- A Landscape Institute accredited qualification.
- CMLI status or be working towards chartership.
- Strong UK landscape architecture consultancy experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong design and technical delivery.
- Experience across RIBA Work Stages.
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Project and client management experience.
Experience of renewable energy or major development projects would be particularly valuable.
LVIA and TVIA experience is desirable, but this is primarily a landscape design role rather than a landscape planning position.
