About the Role

The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our client's Ecology team at various levels, including Assistant Ecologist, Ecologist, and Senior Ecologist. The successful candidates will work on a diverse range of projects, contributing to ecological assessments, habitat management plans, and biodiversity strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ecological surveys and assessments.
- Prepare technical reports and habitat management plans.
- Provide ecological input into landscape design and planning applications.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior team members (for Senior Ecologist position).
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in ecological consultancy or a related sector.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM) is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- A valid UK driving license.
