About the Role

We're working with a leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancy that is looking to add an Arboricultural Consultant to its growing Midlands team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across housing, infrastructure and energy, while enjoying the flexibility of home working and genuine career development.

The Role

You'll be part of an experienced arboricultural team, delivering high-quality technical advice and supporting projects from inception through to completion. The role offers an excellent mix of fieldwork, reporting, client liaison and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking BS 5837 tree surveys, tree risk assessments and tree population management.
  • Producing technical reports and CAD-based plans.
  • Supporting projects across the housing, road, rail and energy sectors.
  • Contributing to veteran tree, historic landscape and long-term tree management projects.
  • Working closely with ecology, landscape and planning teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and helping to grow arboricultural services across the region.

About You

We're keen to hear from enthusiastic and proactive arboricultural professionals who have:

  • Experience delivering BS 5837 surveys and tree risk assessments.
  • A good understanding of UK arboricultural standards and best practice.
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • A positive, solutions-focused approach and a passion for high-quality arboricultural consultancy.
